Supplied cables

Locate where the existing earth cables are (they are black)

1. From the alternator to the body A
2. From the battery terminal to the body – just behind the pop up light F
3. From the battery terminal to the top of the gearbox E
4. From the body – similar position to the alternator body position but on the opposite side of the car, you will find a black wire that feeds under the the air box/filter section to a bolt near the exhaust manifold. D

1. Remove the alternator to body cable and replace with the shortest supplied cable 28cm
2. Locate the No4 cable, remove, and replace with the 60cm cable, noting that one end has a larger connector (needed for the engine end).
3. Add a cable from the body end of No4 to a suitable bolt on the top of the throttle body (see picture) 49cm
4. Remove the negative terminal from the battery and then remove the attached leads from the top of the gearbox and from behind the pop up light. 35cm, and 75cm (larger connector for top of gearbox)
5. Attach the leads from the new terminal to the top of gearbox and from behind the pop up light.
6. Attach final lead from No4 position on the body back to the cable attachment for the terminal (perhaps this could be pre-attached) 40cm
7. Attach terminal to the battery.
